Arrival
Key-card insert triggers the welcome scene — entrance lighting, curtains to a preset, HVAC from setback to comfort. Removal powers the room down after a delay.
At the door
A corridor panel shows Do Not Disturb and Make Up Room. Housekeeping sees status from the corridor instead of knocking.
Energy
Occupancy-linked setback across the floor is the single biggest controllable cost in a UAE hotel. KNX ties it to door contacts, PIR and the key-card, not to a guess.
Maintainability
Standard KNX devices, standard ETS files. Your engineering team, or any certified integrator in the UAE, can take it over — no proprietary guest-room controller to be discontinued.

KNX is the open, ISO-standardised bus for building automation (ISO/IEC 14543-3). Because it is a standard rather than one brand's ecosystem, a KNX installation in Dubai or Abu Dhabi can mix devices from different manufacturers, is programmed with ETS by any certified integrator, and keeps working long after any single app or cloud service is retired. For villas, hotels and offices in the UAE that matters: the building outlives the gadget.

Promax Automation supplies the full LEXA KNX range from Dubai and delivers turnkey projects — site survey, load schedules, panel design, installation supervision, ETS programming, commissioning, client handover training and an annual maintenance contract. We also supply trade-only to consultants, contractors and other system integrators.
LEX FALL is the flagship — square or rectangular keys, a matching thermostat and ten to thirteen finishes; it suits most villas and apartments. For a typical villa, first-fix wiring runs with the main electrical works; panel build and DIN-rail actuator installation take one to two weeks; ETS programming and commissioning a further one to two weeks depending on the number of circuits, scenes and integrations. We give a firm programme with the quotation.
