In a Dubai villa the air-conditioning is the energy budget. KNX ties set-point and setback to occupancy, door contacts and schedules, so empty rooms stop being cooled at 22 °C all afternoon.
Empty half the year
Many Dubai homes sit unoccupied for months. An Away scene shuts down lighting and cooling, keeps irrigation and façade lighting on schedule, and reports back — without depending on a cloud service that may not exist next year.

KNX is the open, ISO-standardised bus for building automation (ISO/IEC 14543-3). Because it is a standard rather than one brand's ecosystem, a KNX installation in Dubai or Abu Dhabi can mix devices from different manufacturers, is programmed with ETS by any certified integrator, and keeps working long after any single app or cloud service is retired. For villas, hotels and offices in the UAE that matters: the building outlives the gadget.

Promax Automation supplies the full LEXA KNX range from Dubai and delivers turnkey projects — site survey, load schedules, panel design, installation supervision, ETS programming, commissioning, client handover training and an annual maintenance contract. We also supply trade-only to consultants, contractors and other system integrators.
LEX FALL is the flagship — square or rectangular keys, a matching thermostat and ten to thirteen finishes; it suits most villas and apartments. LEX BLOSSOM adds super-touch keys in mineral colours for design-led interiors. LEX AUTUMN is the quietest, most minimal plate. LEX WAVE is the wide-format climate panel. For a typical villa, first-fix wiring runs with the main electrical works; panel build and DIN-rail actuator installation take one to two weeks; ETS programming and commissioning a further one to two weeks depending on the number of circuits, scenes and integrations. We give a firm programme with the quotation.
